There are some weddings that stay with you long after the final note has faded — and Tahani & Stephen’s beautiful London wedding was certainly one of them.
Hosted in one of Central London’s most elegant wedding venues, the setting was absolutely perfect for a night of live swing music, vintage style and a packed dance floor. From the moment guests entered the room, the atmosphere felt special.
For us, this wedding carried even more meaning, as it was the second time The Mini Big Band had performed for this wonderful family. Being asked back to provide the entertainment for another family wedding is always a huge honour, and one of the greatest compliments we can receive as a live wedding band.
A Luxury London Wedding with Live Big Band Music
Tahani & Stephen wanted an evening that felt timeless, elegant and full of energy — exactly the kind of celebration our vintage-style big band was created for.
Our full live band brought the classic big band sound to the evening reception, combining swinging jazz classics, upbeat party music and the unmistakable atmosphere that only live musicians can create. With our professional sound and lighting production helping transform the room, the whole evening had a real sense of occasion from start to finish.
London weddings always have a certain magic, but this one felt especially memorable. The room looked stunning, the guests were incredible, and the energy throughout the night was something truly special.
A Special Live Performance of “My Girl”
One of the standout moments of the evening came during the father-and-daughter dance.
Shortly before the performance, Tahani and Stephen asked whether we could back their friends live for a performance of My Girl. Despite the short notice, our musicians quickly brought everything together — and it became one of the most personal and emotional moments of the entire wedding.
These are the moments we love most as a wedding band. Live music has a way of creating memories that feel completely unique to each couple and family.
