Marcia and Daniel’s wedding.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your email. It’s quite bonkers to think that our wedding was over 3 months ago now; we’ve actually only just got our photos and video back this week, so have had a lovely time reliving the day.

We were so SO pleased we booked you guys – you made everything so easy for us, and absolutely everyone commented on how amazing it was to have a live big band sound to listen and throw ourselves around to! Thank you for making our day extra special, and for coming all the way down to perform – it was a long trip for you all, but you’d never have known, as your energy and fresh musical performances made it seem like you’d just travelled from round the corner, and your singer’s voice was quite spectacular. Thank you also for fulfilling a long-held ambition of mine – singing with a big band. It was just the most fun, and if you’re ever in need of a lady croonette to add to your band, you know where I am.

In my husband’s words, you were the icing on an extraordinary cake of a day. Thank you.

Birthday Party in London.

Just a short note to give feedback about Mike’s party last Saturday. The band were absolutely brilliant – we danced all night and those over 40 had aching bones the next day! Nobody complained though and loads of lovely emails about the band were received.

For specific feedback I want to say thanks to you for being so organised and professional and choosing a fabulous set.
Thanks to James the sound guy – the access wasn’t easy and it was raining which didn’t help – yet he carried on regardless and set up a fabulous sound experience. The singer was great and you were all lovely and most helpful.

Overall thanks so much for making it such a lovely night

Lee Quickmire, New Years Eve Wedding.

Hi Chris

I just wanted to thank you for an amazing evening. The band were getting rave review’s from everyone I spoke too. Letting my Uncle (he was my Dads brother but is so close to us) having the performance of his life was a very special moment for him and for us and I’d like to thank you for letting us do that. He and I will never forget that and it was the icing on the cake and a very special moment…I hadn’t cried all day but that was my breaking point!

The band and performance was exceptional and I’m so glad you guys enjoyed the day also. I will certainly tag the photos when we get them back and will tag anyone I see on social media.

Thanks again Chris, you have the best band I’ve ever heard and I’ve heard a few in my time, it really was a fantastic night and you guys helped make it that special.

Just wanted to say on behalf of me and Katrina you and the guys where a absolutely fantastic last night! A real pleasure dealing with yourself in the build up you where very professional and on the evening really performed, great feedback from everyone and got even the the most reluctant dancers on there feet!

Christian Ardelys Wedding, London, September 2016.

We were absolutely delighted to have booked the mini big band to play at our wedding reception. The standard was exceptional and the band had provided an extensive repertoire from which we were able to highlight our favoured songs. The band also had recordings of some numbers on sound cloud so that we could learn a first dance to the exact arrangement that they were to play on the night. It couldn’t have been easier – in the end we chose to charleston to “I want to be like you” which was fun and went down extremely well. I liaised with Chris mainly via email, but chatted on the phone nearer to the day so that arrangements could be finalised, nothing was too much trouble and the band was a real highlight. The keyboard player was booked earlier to play the piano during the meal and their set up was efficient.

The band had travelled from Yorkshire to London to play and they might be making the journey down the A1 more frequently as several guests at the wedding have been asking for their contact details, and all thank you letters have commented on their stunning performance, the dance floor was filled all night.

Chris – thank you for a stand out performance.

I said it on the night but the band were spectacular on Saturday. The dance floor was packed throughout both sets and we had so so much fun!! We’ve had so many comments from our guests about how brilliant the band were, truly. Thank you for all of your help in arranging this, it was wonderful and exactly what we had imagined.
