We had the honor of performing at Grantley Hall, Ripon, for John and Jeanette’s breathtaking wedding. What an incredible venue! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this would be a day to remember, with a stunning setting and a 10-piece band setting the stage for a truly memorable celebration.

The day had a brilliant atmosphere from the start, with a crowd who clearly loved live music and were more than ready to get involved.

Emma and Jacob’s guests were incredibly welcoming, and once the party got going there was no shortage of energy on the dance floor.

There was even some impressive guest singing along the way — always a good sign that everyone is fully committed to the party!

It was a real pleasure to head to the beautiful Wyresdale Park for Jack and Melissa’s wedding.

This was our first time performing at the venue, and it made a brilliant impression. Wyresdale combines rustic barn charm with stylish interiors and beautiful countryside surroundings, making it a fantastic setting for a summer wedding.

One question couples sometimes have when considering a 10-piece band is whether they will have enough space at their venue.

Jack and Melissa’s wedding showed just how flexible The Mini Big Band can be. We were able to create the full visual and musical impact of the band while working comfortably within the available stage space.

So even if your wedding venue doesn’t have a huge stage, a full big band experience can still be possible.

A Groom Who Started the Party Himself

We knew this was going to be a great night when Jack opened the evening with his own 20-minute acoustic set.

He absolutely set the place alight and, from that point on, the guests were ready to party.

Once The Mini Big Band took over, the atmosphere carried straight through the evening with a brilliant crowd and a packed dance floor.

It was a pleasure to finish our busy Christmas run with a trip out to Athens for a very special Christmas party. Some amazing photos to follow.

Our clients looked after us all so well, making it a very special trip for us after a very busy period. It was great to work with an amazing sound and AV team in Athens, supplied by the guys at Tempo Events – Greece. What a team!

We heard swing music everywhere we went in Athens, and caught an amazing jazz night in central Athens on our rest day. The appreciation for great jazz music is strong in Greece and we hope to be out there again soon putting on a great show.

On to NYE next for us at the amazing Bibis Restaurant, Leeds (slightly closer to home). 2 sold out shows! We’ll be bringing in the bells with style.
