This June we were lucky enough to be asked by Guy Garvey (Elbow) to perform our live band karaoke show at the South Bank centre in London as part of his Meltdown Festival. This was an amazing night giving the chance to the audience to come up and sing with the live band on stage. Guy opening the night and then the amazing singers just kept on coming. What an amazing night!
This is the 4th time we’ve played for Medsoc (medical society for Leeds University) and these guys really know how to party, this night was no exception.

On behalf of Charlotte and I, I would like to say a big thank you to you and the rest of your team who played at our wedding. The day was already absolutely perfect, but arriving into the Olympia suite to the sight and sound of the Big Mini Band just made the day!
We were late to arriving to the evening reception (a brides prerogative…!) but that was no problem to the band who adapted to the time change perfectly. The music was unbelievable and the second set especially when all the guests had warmed up, had everyone on their feet dancing the night away!
I will absolutely be recommending the Big Mini Band to everyone I know for any occasion and certainly hope to use you again for the next of our special occasions.

Here’s a few pictures from an amazing wedding in the foothills of the North Yorkshire moors, such a beautiful location. This was for Fran and Simons wedding, and what a party it was!
Here’s a few pictures as featured in OK Magazine from an amazing event that The Mini Big Band played for in Manchester. This was a charity ball for a great cause featuring a few of the Norths finest celebs. It was also great to have Ray Quinn singing a few numbers with the band again. A real swing star who put on a great performance. Here’s to next year.

We had a fantastic night playing doe Muhammad’s wedding at the famous Savoy Hotel in London. Here’s a few pictures of the band getting ready in the fantastic Lancaster Ballroom, which was dressed impeccably. Theres such great history in this Ballroom and it was an absolute pleasure to be there entertaining Muhammad and his guests.
We had a great night performing for Catherine and Edd’s wedding party at the Beautiful Stoke Park Hotel in Buckinghamshire. Here’s a few pictures of the beautiful set up and the band in Action. The hotel was used in the film “Layer Cake”, very glamourous.
