We had great service from Alive Network and a suberb performance from the MBB Band they were praised by all our guests and made a perfect wedding day for our daughter and son-in-law complete. We would highly recommend the band.

As function musicians ourselves, we knew what we wanted from a band for our wedding – a high quality, entertaining and no hassle band who could play as a trio in the afternoon and a big band in the evening. What The MBB Band offered was all that and more.
Firstly, they’re a great bunch of people, a pleasure to deal with. They’ve got a big repertoire and took on our suggestions with ease. In addition, these guys can play. Seriously. Tight horn section, great back line and an amazing front man – he really puts in a shift vocally at the same time as mastering the crowd.
Our wedding was 700+ and they easily held the attention of the masses. The dance floor was packed and for weeks afterwards we had friends asking where we found such a great band. We’d recommend them as a 10/10 to anybody who’s looking for a wedding band!

From my first contact with Chris to the time I was reluctantly seeing The Mini Big Band leaving the event (the black tie evening of a Company & Clients Conference) I was in superb and professional hands. The whole group of technically brilliant musicians and a charismatic front man just oozed class, confidence, fun and character. Prior to the event I spoke with Chris and swapped emails. Nothing was too much trouble and he always gave reassurances around flexibility and putting me as their client first, before their own set up and staging requirements. I had complete control on the set list and timings and the band were really cool with playing 2-3 short interval sets before a longer final set. The staging dimensions were not quite as anticipated and the MBB took it all in their stride as the true professionals that they obviously are. From hearing the first notes of the evening I knew the room were in for a treat. We had themed the room to look like a smokey 1960’s music club and the band were the complete icing and cherry on top of the cake. They really helped transport all our guests to a Vegas lounge. All night they were brilliant, not a note out of place from the band or singer and I just couldn’t think of anything that they could have done better. At the end it was a shame to see them leave the stage and they left all the guests buzzing, really appreciating the show they had put on. For a premier class, professional act I cannot recommend MBB enough. For that little something extra for your event then look no further. These artists will not let you down.

The music choices available out there for weddings, parties and everything in between are vast and it feels like a real leap of faith. Which is why the Mini Big Band were a complete godsend for our wedding. From the minute we got in touch until the morning after the night before, they couldn’t do enough to help us including gently reminding us of all the things we’d forgotten about. (First dance music?!?!) But all that pales into insignificance compared with the performance itself. They were just brilliant. The effort they put in was fantastic, the response from the crowd was immense and musicians and guests just seemed to feed of each other’s energy! They must have been even more exhausted than us the following day! Everyone, and I mean everyone was up and dancing all night, there wasn’t a chink of light on the dancefloor. Hi there Chris and the rest of the band. Not only did myself and my husband thoroughly enjoy the Mini Big Band playing at our wedding but so did everyone of our guests old and young. The music was amazing and the atmosphere awesome. It really was the icing on the wedding cake! All of the guessay what we saw after the wedding Los commented on how impressed they were and how much they enjoyed dancing away.
