It was a real pleasure for us to return to Athens this year to perform our Christmas show. We genuinely love putting this show together — a celebration of classic swinging Christmas repertoire — and the people of Greece clearly have a real appreciation for jazz and authentic big band music.
This particular trip was for a private dinner event, hosted for some of Greece’s finest guests. A stunning location and beautifully considered stage setting provided the perfect backdrop for the vintage glamour of The Mini Big Band’s Christmas show.
As this was a private event, we’re unable to share venue or performance photos on this occasion. However, we do have a few shots of the band and our travels. It was a real pleasure to tour with this group of musicians — not only exceptional players, but also the very best company to travel with. Trips like this give us the chance to fully enjoy the local culture before stepping on stage to perform.
