We’ve just received some amazing photos from Joe and Emily’s wedding in Oxfordshire, which was incredibly.

This wedding had everything including a mad whole room live band karaoke competition across the 4 sections of the room, with the winners taking the biggest bottle of champagne that we have ever seen.  This was a great feature with everyone in the room getting completely involved in an attempt to win.  This was also mixed with some classic sing a long hits which made for an incredible atmosphere.  These pictures really do tell a great story of who fun this was for the band and the guests.

December saw the return of our “Swingaoke” show to the Southbank Centre in London.  This is the second time we’ve taken our live band karaoke show to the Southbank with both occasions being an amazing experience for the chosen singers and audience alike.

This show gives the audience the chance to come up and sing some classic big band swing numbers infront of the amazing live 9 piece band.

This was a great way for us to finish off our year.  We are now looking forward to a busy 2017, providing the finest modern swing band show for lots of weddings, corporate events and private parties.  I hope we see you there.

Well, its been an amazing year for us, our busiest yet.  We would love to wish you all a Merry Christmas from us.  Here’s a selection of pictures from our busy December.  We hope you have had a great year and we look forward to seeing you in 2017!

It was great to take our swing show back to Quaglino’s earlier this month.  One of London’s finest restaurants that’s perfect for the Mini Big Band’s vintage swing style.  Great food, amazing cocktails and live music, no wonder the place went crazy!

Our first Christmas event of the Year, and what a great event it was.  H&M’s Christmas party and awards ceremony with some of the “Strictly Come Dancing” Dancers.   Christmas swing numbers, dance routines, award stings, this event had everything, including one amazing audience.

We’ve been to some amazing venues this week and played some great shows. Here’s some photos from our event for the RAF chaps at The RAF museum in London for the 100 year celebrations of the RAF. This has to be one of the most Incredible venue’s we’ve been in!  Theres definitely a wow factor when your table is under the wing of a B52 bomber.

We had a great time playing at the Holiday Inn Ballroom in Birmingham where we were able to play our fantastic award Stings/Play ons for the companies award ceremony.  These really do help to liven up and give a touch of Glamour to any awards ceremony.

There’s also a great shot of the professional sound and lights that we use on every event, which enabled us to provide the full event sound for this, including microphones for the presenters and audio for presentations.   

Here’s a couple of photos from a recent event at Broughton Hall in Skipton.  The guests had the wedding day in the traditional Hall and then danced their way up to Utopia (lead by The Mini Big Band horns), the modern glass event hall to party the night away.

Here’s a couple of pictures from our recent trip to Chelyabinsk, Russia for some fantastic gigs on beautiful stages.  It was quite a journey but amazing to play on such great stages and for our amazing hosts and clients.  We’re looking forward to coming out and seeing you all again soon.
