Just a note to say how utterly fantastic the Mini Big Band were at our wedding. From the very first email asking about the bands availability, to the Trio setting a lovely vibe as we had drinks after our ceremony , to the full band swinging at our reception, the experience was effortless and amazing. Chris and the guys are true professionals and lovely guys to deal with. It was my dream to have a swing band at my wedding and the Mini Big Band did not disappoint. For them to play my favourite song while my new wife and I had our first dance was truly mind blowing. Nothing was to much trouble and every communication with them was prompt and professional. Everyone at our wedding said how amazing they were and for massive Rat Pack fan, it was a dream to listen to them all night. If you’re reading this and thinking of booking these guys, do it. They are amazing and truly made our special day even more special. I can’t thank Chris and the guys enough. You made our day !!! Steve and Nicole Allmark

This was our first time performing at Sandhole Oak Barn for Steve and Nicole’s stunning wedding, and what a great venue this is. With a stunning sunset over the lake, this really did feel like the start of our Summer wedding season, in March…

It was great also to have a grand piano on site and to be able to use this as part of our performance. Always a nice touch.

An amazing day for a lovely couple! Thanks for having us on board Steve and Nicole.

Lounge Jazz Trio in action. Middleton Lodge

As well as providing our full show in the evening, we also offer our Lounge Jazz Trio for earlier in the day as an extra. This can set the perfect atmosphere for reception drinks or throughout your meal. With a set list featuring hits from Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Amy Winehouse, Marvin Gaye, Gregory Porter, Bill Withers, all performed in a laid back acoustic jazz style, it really is the perfect way to entertain your guests.

It was great to see these photos of the trio in action for Rachaels wedding at the stunning Middleton Lodge.

The Mere Golf resort and Spa.

It was great to be back at the fantastic Mere Golf Resort and Spa for Daniel and Pooja’s fantastic wedding celebrations. This was an amazing Irish/Indian wedding with a mixture of musical styles throughout the day; from a traditional Irish band to our classic swing to an Indian DJ to finish the evening off. It was great for us to be able to perform a more Cabaret style show throughout the day topped of by helping Daniel sing a song to his wife at the end of his speech.

A fantastic day and an absolute pleasure to be part of your celebrations. All the best guys!

Le Petit Chateau – Northumberland

It was great to perform at the amazing Le Petit Chateau this December for Gemma and Scotts’s beautiful Christmas wedding. This is a stunning venue any time of year however it was very special on a clear and freezing December night!

After a slight delay due to Covid it was great to see Gemma and Scott finally have the amazing wedding celebration that they deserve. All the best guys!

Christmas at The May Fair Hotel.

It was great to kick off our Christmas season in Central London this week at the famous May Fair hotel. This was our second time performing for this corporate event and it was an absolute pleasure to be back! The vintage Christmas sound of the Mini Big Band fitting perfectly with the style and decor of the Crystal ballroom.

It was a pleasure to supply the music for the full weekend; lounge jazz trio starting things off for reception drinks, a packed dance floor all night for The Mini Big Band and a super chilled Sunday lunch session the day after.
