It’s nearly that time of year again and we’re looking forward to getting our fantastic Christmas charts out for the swinging Christmas version of our show. Nothing sets up a Christmas party better than the sounds of Classic Christmas tunes, stealing in the Vintage big band sound and style that The Mini Big Band specialise reproducing.

from Victoria and Toms fantastic wedding near Scunthorpe. This was a great marquee set up in which the stage and the dance area looked fantastic. What a great party.
Here’s a couple of behind the scenes pictures of The Mini Big Band getting ready to swing at The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. This was our first time here and we’re looking forward to playing there later this month also as it has a fantastic old stage and ballroom set up that is perfect for live music and dancing. The Mini Big Bands stage set looked absolutely fantastic in this setting. There was also an alter left in the bands dressing room which had an unusual, romantic effect on the boys in the band (See Photos).
Not a drop of tea was spilt.

Le Mini Big Band have made our own little tour from Yorkshire down to London today (not by bike!!) to play for an event on the Thames, watching the race come to a climax in London. What a great day, shame we couldn’t bring some Yorkshire sunshine with us. — at Hqs Wellington.

what a fantastic day in all senses of the word.
I’m so glad that I booked your band, people are still talking about it today. It made a memorable and special day even better.
The fact that you were able to transpose our Ukrainian music into my key and have it so beautifully played by your pianist was truly fantastic and special and made it seem effortless for us to perform in front of our guests. People though we had rehearsed the song with you before.
All of the band and singer were of the highest caliber, both in musicianship and appearance… very stylish and accomplished performance that got peoples toes tapping and onto the dance floor.
Thank you so much for the effortless and stress free way in which you handled the booking from start to finish. Everything was perfect.
